Super...split bamboo runner/mat woven with an abstract cotton ikat pattern in greens, white, and yellow with a few touches of blue. From the island of Java, Indonesia. Both sides can be used as they are identical. In addition, it opens up myriad possibilities for crafting.

Ikat is a time intensive method of creating patterns on fabric by tying off the yarn prior to weaving and dyeing. When dipped in the color, the dye colors the yarn except for the part that is tied off, which remains the original color. When the yarns are woven, these areas create the pattern. Multiple color ikats require multiple tyings and dyeings. The technique is originally from Indonesia.

Some slight imperfections in the weaving and color are normal in these handmade textiles and to be expected.

The dimensions are 64 in. x 12 in. without the fringe (being handmade, there may be some slight variations in length from 1 to the other).
