All items ship with DHL Express for a flat rate of $19 no matter how big or small your order, no matter how light or heavy your package. Thus, there is significant savings when purchasing multiple yards or items. Purchase 1 or 1000 items, the shipping cost is still $19. And there are no "free shipping" costs hidden in the product cost. Transit times are only 2 to 5 business days with up to the minute tracking so you always know the status of your order.
Shipping service is to most locations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Certain countries in DHL Zone 5 (Africa, South America, etc...) fall outside the DHL shipping offer and we reserve the right to request additional funds for delivery or cancel the order. On rare occasions, DHL charges a Remote Service Area surcharge when a location is deemed "hard to reach" (such as mountainous areas, some islands, or isolated, distant locales). In these instances, we reserve the right to request additional shipping monies or cancel the order.
Please include your phone number for the DHL waybill. It is required by the DHL system and we cannot ship without it. A mobile phone with SMS capabilities will be able to receive SMS updates from DHL which will help facilitate a smooth and trouble-free delivery.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Water Air Industry is not responsible for delays due to customs.
If a buyer refuses to claim or accept delivery of a package upon arrival in their home country, the item/package will eventually be destroyed by DHL. The cost of return shipping to Thailand, which will also include re-entry custom's duties, is prohibitively expensive. To note, the re-direction of a package and the return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Simply refusing delivery is not akin to cancelling an order and no refunds will be forthcoming in such an event.
Informal shipping news: If you purchase only 1 item, $19 may seem like a lot for a small thing. But it will be at your door in the blink of an eye (not weeks of waiting and not knowing, which has oft been my experience over the years shipping via the post office). The combined shipping savings accrue quickly with more items and even if you buy 100 pounds of goods from us, we'll still ship them to you for only $19 and with a transit time of only 2 to 5 days (yes, your item can be in your hands before your stubble grows out).
In reality, the minimum DHL out-of-pocket cost to us to ship anything at all, even a feather, is about $31 USD and climbing. Again, we know $19 can seem expensive for a small item and we apologize. None of it goes in our pocket. But in addition to the lickety-split transit times, DHL offers secure delivery and step by step tracking. You will receive email and SMS updates of progress and signature requirement upon delivery is standard (unless you as the buyer opt out of that) so NO THEFT of packages and no items left out in the rain a la Amazon.
