The fabric is soft and supple with a pronounced fabric "grain" that you can feel and gives a rustic sense. This is due to a fairly large diameter yarn used in the weaving. Elegant and luxurious soft, pale hue.

Note that the the color of the yardage has gradations due to the handmade and organic dye nature of the fabric. There are bands of slightly lighter colored fabric that present themselves randomly. This can be seen well in the sixth photo. They can be either the boon or the bane of the fabric, depending on your affinity for handmade randomness and your expectations.

Width is 40 inches. The price is per 10 yards of material and each additional "item" will be another 10 yards of fabric.

The weight of a one yard length of fabric is about 8.6 oz/245 grams...not to be confused with the Fabric Weight which is calculated from a square yard or meter (more about the density of the weave and yarn).

To facilitate packing and shipping, fabric lengths of any one fabric type will have a maximum length of 20 yards. That is, if you purchase 40 yards of the same fabric, you will receive two sections of fabric both 20 yards in length. Some exceptions may apply. This fabric, PHA159, will be capped at 19 yards.
