The two layers or fabric are both lightweight muslin but put together the fabric becomes medium weight.

Either side can be used. They are reverse images of each other

Width is 40 inches. 

To facilitate packing and shipping, fabric lengths of any one fabric type will have a maximum length of 20 yards. That is, if you purchase 40 yards of the same fabric, you will receive two sections of fabric both 20 yards in length. Some exceptions may apply.
