Reddish brown Chin tribal textile home decor boho blanket, cotton and hemp hand woven table runner ethnic wall art tapestry VV89

A spectacular hand woven (on a narrow back-strap loom worn around the back of the body and extended using the feet) Chin tribal textile shoulder wrap from Burma. The tan/brown support is hemp while the reddish brown geometric pattern is made from cotton. The racing stripes are dark indigo with orange and red hide and seek threads. The material has quite a sturdy hand feel to it and is somewhat rigid. This is partly due to it's new and unwashed condition and with use it will undoubtedly soften.

Great for pillows or bags. Equally fetching as a table runner or tapestry.

The dimensions are 63 in. x 13 in. not including the fringe. The item is new but being handmade will have various aberrations and anomalies in the weaving and color. There are some slight fade lines here and there in this grouping of textiles. In the one I photographed, you can see a slight fade mark toward the top of the textile.
