Stunning Indonesian hill tribe home decor, boho fabric natural ethnic tapestry, Sumba Pahikung black white red traditional handwoven tribal cotton textile runner EW20

Black and warm, off-white with some red racing stripes, Pahikung-style supplementary warp textile from Sumba, Indonesia. The weaving is tight and dense and the fabric quite sturdy, yet soft and supple. The item is fairly thick with a nice, textured hand-feel. Either side can be used and I have shown the item from both the front (the darker side) and the back.

Total dimensions are 16.5 in. x 49 in. without the fringe. The fringe itself is about 5 inches long.

This is a handwoven and hand embroidered textile. Please expect some normal telltale signs of the human textile artist (aberrations in the weaving and embroidery)! Who wants perfect machine made anyway??
