The original use of this textile is as a skirt or sarong. The colors are from traditional natural, vegetable dyes resulting in the subtle, soft palette. This is a time consuming and expensive process compared to chemical dyes.

The weave has a soft and durable hand-feel with lots of texture.

The dimensions are 32 in x 86 in. New condition.

The last two images show the back of the textile.

Some slight imperfections in the weaving and color are normal in these handmade textiles.
