This textile is hand dyed, hand batiked, and hand manipulated to create the alluring abstract pattern. It has been washed multiple times and smells like fresh laundry, yay! To be extra safe about color bleeding on white surfaces, it might be advisable to wash yet again.

The fabric is medium to heavy weight and has a pronounced woven texture. The hand feel is somewhat rough but not at all scratchy. I did not add softener when washing it in case any one planned to add an interlining so certainly a bath with softener will help in that regard, if so desired.

The dimensions are 108 inches (3 yds.) x 41 inches. The 2 pieces for sale in this listing are all quite similar but being hand crafted using the above listed techniques they will necessarily show some differences from the photos.
