Stunning Indonesian hill tribe home decor, boho fabric natural ethnic tapestry, Sumba Pahikung brick-red and white traditional handwoven tribal cotton textile runner EW22

Orangey brick-red and warm, off-white, Pahikung-style supplementary warp textile from Sumba, Indonesia. There is black yarn interwoven into the design, as well, adding to the depth and visual intrigue. The weaving is tight and dense and the fabric quite sturdy, yet soft and supple. The item is fairly thick with a nice, textured hand-feel. Either side can be used and I have shown the item from both the front (the darker side) and the back.

Total dimensions are 17.5 in. x 50 in. without the fringe. The fringe itself is about 4 inches long.

This is a handwoven and hand embroidered textile. Please expect some normal telltale signs of the human textile artist (aberrations in the weaving and embroidery)! Who wants perfect machine made anyway??
