Both the front and back of this pillow have been constructed using a super soft hand made fabric by the Karen or Karian ethnic group of Thailand and Burma. It is hand woven on a traditional back-strap loom with cotton colored using all natural dyes, thus the soft, muted tones. Because of the narrow size of a back-strap loom (narrow to fit the size of the weavers back), the fabric width is correspondingly narrow. You can see the hand stitched "X" pattern in two lines running up the front and back of the pillow where the fabric has been niftily joined.

Pillow dimensions are 26 inches wide x 37 inches tall. Because of the particular handmade/handwoven characteristics, dimensions are intended as plus or minus half an inch.

This pillow has an interlining/fusing applied to the rearside of both the front and back materials to maintain fabric integrity and smashing good looks, and a top-of-the-line, YKK-zippered, fill opening for strength and durability . In addition, all fabric joints have been serged/overlocked to properly seal the edges, prevent fraying, and provide a crisp, clean finish. Note that to accommodate the fringe the zipper for filling the pillow is not on the edge of the pillow but a couple inches below it.

Please note that the hand-woven textile used in this pillow may have some aberrations such as pulled threads or other anomalies.
