This textile is hand dyed, hand batiked, and the pattern hand stamped. All dyes are from organic, natural sources. It has been washed multiple times and smells like fresh laundry, yay! To be extra safe about color bleeding on white surfaces, it might be advisable to wash yet again.

The fabric is double-layer. That is, two lightweight, cotton muslin layers that are woven together. Consequently, it has some body to it but retains a summerly, gauzy, feel.

The dimensions are 108 inches (3 yds.)  x 46 inches. The 4 pieces for sale in this listing are all quite similar but being hand crafted using the above listed techniques they will necessarily show some differences from the photos. Anomalies and aberrations in the dyeing are also to be expected.
